This gobelin is called 'Spring' and was designed by C.A. Lion Cachet for the reading room of the ocean liner MS Christiaan Huygens in 1927. The colorful design celebrates spring with a garden in bloom. The gardens shows a wide variety of plants, birds and butterflies. The tapestry is executed by the atelier of J.F. Semey in 1927.
