Tapestry with abstract motive in different colours designed by J.F. Semey for Pander after 1934. From 1918, J.F. Semey (1891 - 1973) was the artistic director of the Nederlandsche Kunstweefschool (Dutch Artistic Weaving School) in The Hague. The students mostly made tapestries after the designs of W.H. Gispen, J.F. Semey, C.A. Lion Cachet, Chris Lanooy and Chris Lebeau.
