Pair of oak arm chairs with original upholstery, designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia Stolefabrik, Denmark, 1956. The square construction of their frames lends the chairs a geometric, almost graphic impression. The fabric design is by Lis Ahlman. About this collaboration with Ahlman, Mogensen said: 'Lis's textiles were a meeting of the rational and the painterly. If clothes make the man, then it seems my furniture had found its perfect wardrobe'.
