Gorgeous rosewood dining table, designed by Johannes Andersen for Christian Linneberg Møbelfabrik. The table is extendable with a pair of extension leaves on tapering legs. You can store the extension leaves underneath the tabletop. There is a sticker with the Linneberg logo and serial number 25906 on the bottom of the tabletop. The table has a width of 217 cm with both extension leaves. Andersen's career paralleled the growing appreciation for Danish furniture designs, and he attracted international attention. He designed for several workshops before opening his own furniture workshop in the 1930s. His well-crafted designs were mostly executed in rosewood and teak. He is known for his coffee tables, like the highly sculptural Smile Table. He closed his workshop in the 1980s.
