Beautiful teak coffee table designed by Finn Juhl for France & Son in 1958. The table represents a style that became very typical for Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern furniture. The Danish architect and designer Finn Juhl was well known outside of Denmark early on thanks to a commission for the United Nations headquarters in New York and a representation in the Museum of Modern Art. Danish Mid-Century Modern design became an international phenomenon when Juhl collaborated with the American furniture industry. Nowadays, his designs are seen in both private as public spaces all over the world.
