This ceramic sculpture is designed by Johnny Rolf in circa 1970. In her work, Rolf was guided by her imagination and feelings, which shows in this expressive sculpture. The work is built by hand and has a texture of incised lines. On the back a lying figure can be seen. Rolf was inspired by the many travels she and her husband, artist Jan de Rooden, made. This way, she learned many pottery traditions from all over the world.
