Rectangular paper bag designed by Bart van der Leck for Metz & Co in 1952. As a de Stijl-artist, Van der Leck was famous for his use of primary colours and geometrical forms. The company Metz & Co asked him to design, the Metz & Co. logo, tapestries and colours for interior fabrics. Metz & Co was a company specialized in furniture, textile and objects of applied arts. The firm originated in Amsterdam and also had a store in The Hague from 1912 to 1981. Two pieces; price per piece.
