Male nude by Else Berg in circa 1920s. This charcoal drawing on paper was on show at the Hollandse Kunstkring ('Dutch Art Circle') in Amsterdam in 1930. Else Berg was an artist inspired by the Bergen School. Together with her husband, artist Mommie (S.L.) Schwarz, she left behind a varied and avantgardist oeuvre. The work is signed on the bottom left with 'E. Berg' and 'Paris'.
