Marc Mulders designed this 'Butterfly cage' in commission for Glasmuseum Leerdam. It was the museum object of the year in 2009 and it is executed by Henk Verweij. The work consists of two stained glass parts. Butterflies are painted on the clear glass platter. Above the platter is a glass bell jar, which prevents the butterflies from flying away. The bell jar is also painted. This object is number 24 in an edition of 100. A certificate of authenticity is included.
