A.D. Copier, Glass object, executed by Gary Beecham, Studio Harvey Littleton, 1982

This studio glass one-off was made in 1982 during Andries Dirk Copier’s first work session in the USA, at studio Harvey Littleton, Spruce Pine, North Carolina (NC). The glass-maker was Gary Beecham. Upside-down pear shape vase with opaque blue and green colour surfaces in organic forms arranged close to the surface of the colourless glass body. The colour on the backs of the surfaces is reversed from green to blue or blue to green. The result is alternating views through the piece. Signed in the pontil mark with diamond point: 'NC 821127 A.D. Copier'.
