A.D. Copier, 'Filigrane interferenti', unique glass vase, executed by Lino Tagliapietra, Effetre International, Murano, 1985

For this beautiful robust one-off “Slinger Vase” Andries Dirk Copier collaborated with Master Glassblower Lino Tagliapietra at the famous Murano Glassworks Effetre International. It is made of colourless glass with fused fine white twisted threading, overlaid within light brown (burnt umber). The wavy shape in the upper part is hand formed, the lower part was mould blown into a rectangular shape. In vibro-engraving the signature on the underside reads: 85 04 52 A.D.
