Felicitas Engels Neuhold
Felicitas Engels-Neuhold is born in Vienna in 1940. In 1962 Engels-Neuhold goes to Leerdam, where she starts working as master engraver. In 1972 she opens her own studio, where she makes freer work, following the American Studio Glass movement. The traditional engraved scenes are replaced by more imaginative designs. Later, her work becomes more robust and organic. She starts sculpting in glass: by sanding, sawing and polishing she frees the form that she sees enclosed in the glass.
