Bronze head of a faun on a marble pedestal, designed by Adrianus Remiëns (1890 - 1972) in the 1920s. Signed with 'AR'. Remiëns was a Dutch sculptor, drawer and painter. He attended the Tekenschool voor Kunstambachten in Amsterdam. He designed many sculptures for several buildings in Amsterdam.
