A.D. Copier for La Verrerie de Biot, Unique vase with spotted decoration, 1989

Beautiful unique vase with spotted decoration designed by Andries Dirk Copier in 1989. This vase was executed by the famous French glass factory La Verrerie de Biot. Copier worked in France on a collection inspired by, among others, the paintings by Fernand Léger in the Musée National Fernand Léger and pointillism. The dark glossy spots on the outside create a beautiful contrast with the cloudy interior in soft grey-blue. The work is signed at the bottom with '890954 La Verrerie de Biot A.D. Copier'.
