Art Nouveau vase with two handles and a colourful floral decor, made in the earthenware factory Wed. N.S.A. Brantjes & Co. in Purmerend in 1895-1904. On the bottom this vase is signed with the manufacturer's mark (a wooden clog), the letters NB and 'Faience de Purmerende Hollande. Underneath it says 'Dec: A' which refers to the type of decor: decor A. Number 1135 is the model number, in this case in the 1100 series. The painter wrote down his initials in the form of a monogram.
