This beautiful hand turned bowl is designed by Beate Reinheimer in 1982. The thick surface of the bowl has a geometric appearance due to the hand cut incisions Reinheimer made. Afterwards, the surface is treated with a salt glaze. Both the application of a salt glaze and the function of her objects is important in the work of Beate Reinheimer.
