Work from her very earliest period. Babs told me: 'These objects were constructed by stacking twisted rolls. Roll out clay into a roll and build from the bottom piece. Then build the clay rolls on top of each other and connect them. Very few results were achieved with this technique. All my work after that was built up with pieces of cloth.'
