A striking Dutch Art Nouveau 'Adanine' vase designed by Anton Nelson (1880-1910) for N.V. Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland in Gouda. The design of the vase is inspired by the Belgium and French flamboyant Art Nouveau. It shows a beautiful lady, surrounded by flowers, rising up from a the base of the vase. The vase itself is also designed as a chalice of a flower. The artwork is made of glazed earthenware and signed at the base 'Ant. Nelson' and 'Adanine Gouda'. The number of the model is '7031' and can be seen at the bottom.
