Germany 1893 - 1983

The German painter, sculptor, photographer and designer Marianne Brandt studied at the Bauhaus, where she became head of metal workshop Ruppelwerk in 192. In 1929 she worked for the Walter Gropius architects' office in Berlin and made designs for the Metallwarenfabrik Ruppelwerk in Gotha.
