With her magical species, artist Kaori Kurihara (Osaka, 1987) plays with our perception. Her ceramic works, inspired by fruits, plant shapes and marine life, look deceptively real. In reality, these fascinating life forms do not exist at all. Each object was born from the fantasy of the Japanese artist. From 19 October to 3 November 2019 the talented artist will exhibit for the first time in the Netherlands, in the Kunstconsult gallery in Amstelveen. "Imaginature" is the title of the sales exhibition.
