Amsterdam School Stained Glass Pendant Lamp with Gemstones, 1920s

Amsterdam School pendant lamp with stained glass and fortification agate, from the interior of jewelry shop S. Spyer & Co in The Hague. The shop was situated on the corner of the famous Passage, a classy shopping mall. During the late 1920s the interior of the shop was altered by architect Roobol to an unmistakable Amsterdamse School style. These beautiful lamps were a true eye catcher in the interior of the jewelry shop. The half gems (fortification agate) make it very special.
