Unique blue vase with yellow decorations designed by Olaf Stevens for Glass Factory Leerdam in 1995. The vase is executed by Henk Verwey. Signed on the bottom with 'Leerdam Unica 95039 H.V. O.S. Olaf Stevens'. Olaf Stevens (1954) was employed at Glass Factory Leerdam from 1991 until 1999 as industrial glass designer. He decorates his works with colorful pictographs, as you can see in this work. This gives the works by Stevens an unique and cheerful appearance. For his decorations he uses an old Swedish grail technique, which allows him to work with great precision.
