This colourful bowl was made by Andries Dirk Copier in Novy Bor, Czech Republic, in collaboration with master glassblower Peter Novotny in 1988. It is a studio glass one-off with fused-in shards of reddish brown and several shades of blue. The round form was blown and the irregular rim was hand-formed. It is signed in diamond point at the bottom: '88 05 58 P. N. NOVY BOR A.D. Copier'. This glass object is described and documented in the publication 'Andries Dirk Copier. Ideas in glass.
